I have a 1992 Convertible. When I hit the button in the counsel or the one on the door to release the top I only get a Clicking sound and the hatch will not release. The clicking sound is coming from behind the seats.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have an 87 Vette convertible that does the same thing. Once I have hit the button, or the release in the door, I gently lift up on one side of the top, at the rear, and this will cause the top to release. It is only an adjustment under the lid within the linkage that needs to be adjusted, or, the cables are either broken or have loosened off. Good luck.
