I'm having problems with my driver information center on my 1990 Corvette I assume that the light sensor what's going out I replaced the d i c and the light in the dash works periodically and then quits I have waited overnight . then the next day turn the ignition switch on and the light for the background is back on it will stay on for short time turn the engine off go to start it back up and no light does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to correct the problem I have replaced the d i c 3 times thinking that was the problem

 

The only thing I can offer would be to check all the connections provide voltage for this light.
