Default Electrical problems

Hello to alland Merry Christmas!

I own a 90 Corvette coupe with approx. 122,000 miles. All original except for itemsreplaced due to maintenance. One of which is the alternator. The problem experienced is, during idle, while stopped at a traffic light, with lights and/ or Air Conditioning. The dash display pulsates and the engine starts to idle rough. Any ideas what could be the problems could be?

Thank you, for your responses and have a Merry Christmas!

Default RE: Electrical problems

Check and clean all grounds, then put a voltmeter on your battery at idle and see if voltage is steady. If grounds are good, sounds like the rectifier in the alternator might be giving up. [8D]
