Default Hard water spots

I bought a 88 coupe to go with my 90 roadster but it has hard water spots on the glass, any ideas on how to get it clean again. I have tried glass cleaner and comet with no results.

I have heard that there is a mixture sold at auto parts stores that lightly buffs away scratches in auto window glass. I am a bit leery of it as it may be too abrasive but you
might check it out as a last resort. Good luck.

To "clean" glass, I use newspaper(50 cent for a whole lot of it) and Windex. It works better than paper towels. Just keep the glass wet and change newspapers when you move to a new spot.

newspaper is one of the best forgotten secrets,i use a washcloth with plain old water then dry with newspaper.on the SPOTS. are u sure its hard water ,a cleaner like fantastic will spot glass [etch] if comet didnt remove them you should pay a visit to an autoglass shop before ya scratch the glass

Try Janvil glass restoration, its used for damage up to .004 deep scratch. Keep in mind some replacement windshields have tiny delaminations between the safety glass layers that look like spots.
