Cars on the way to the shop. They say 1500 bucks to fix it. They "claim" my heads need to be refurbished????? What does that mean??????????????? Lee and mech???

 

Hey Jay, happy to see you wern't run off. Sounds like the shop is recommending a valve job and maybe milling the head surface to get a good seal when you bolt it back together. You need to ask them what they have in mind and the reasons for the diagnosis.

 

And ask them to itemize the 1500 bucks. seems alot to me. You could get some after market heads for that and put them on your self. Cheers
