update inatallrd new controller headlights on no flip turn off and back on flip. over and over in a row it works fine let it set 45 sec will not flip on first try but 2 nd its fine.so im glad they flip but it would be nice if it did it the first time.

Hi Rick, I take it that both are opening, when they do open. On the 5 wire connector you have, yellow (A), red (B), white (C), black (D), red (E).The next time theydon'topen, check and see if (A)has 12vwith the headlight switch on . Then check and see if (C)has 12vwith the headlight switch off. If you don't, you could have a badheadlight switch too.

missed detail i have 12v at both feed wires. the switch did get hard to move so i took it apart cleaned it and put it back togther.might be a cheap fix if it is it

What can be happ'nin' on the second switchin', that ain't happ'nin on the first switchin'???

And does it take 2 switchin's to close the assembly?

"B" & "E" are the feed wires and should have 12v all the time.

"A" should have 12v, only with the headlight switch on, it shouldn't have 12v with the switch off.

Just clarifying that, in case we're misunderstanding each other.

And both are doin' the same trick exactly the same way every time???
