Hey fellows- i need help.i have a 1987 vet with what i think is a heater core problem.windshield is fogging & smell antifreeze inside.no leakage on floor yet but adding coolant occasionally.my haynes manual doesnt give info as how to replace core.will a stop leak product work or is there any product you know of that will correct?price of core is not that much but i think labor will be high.any suggestions?thanks in advance!!

I've replace 2 or 3 of them at my shop, bout a 5 - 6 hour job. Easier if you remove the passenger seat. Have to drop passenger side lower valance, remove dash pad to pull computer out of the way, ac vent. Then the heater core cover, blend door, clamps, etc. Most of it laying down under the dash. :-(
