I need to replace the heater core in my 89. I have the factory manual and it looks pretty straight forward.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to make the job easier?

Here's a tip, when you disconnect the heater hoses, blow the water out of the system with an air hose.
You'll be glad if you do, otherwise you'll have anti-freeze all over the place.
