alright, the car is cured!! thank god. It was out of fluid, so i put some more in fluid in it and waited a while and the clutch was working fine... now i just need to check for leaks and go from there... thanks for all the input guys.

How many miles you got here?

A leak might be a good thing, cause like brakes, when the brake fluid gets low, it's cause the brake pads are nearin' replacement time, and the caliper pistons are goin' in further to take the place of the worn disc thickness. If the clutch disc is gettin' thin, the fluid level will drop much the same way as the brake pedal.
