RE: Hot Fuel
Agree completely with the hesitation you guys speak about[&:]
I was all set to try it then told my mechanic about it and he said to use the gas tank only because it can actually eat at the seals etc...[:@]
I don't know what to think now...[sm=sigh.gif]
Maybe mech259 can set us straight[8D]
Keep the wave alive[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

RE: Hot Fuel
I asked mech and he said he didnt have any experience. with it. I believe everyone on here who has tried it has had good experiments but pouring a liquid into the motor with the risk of hydrolocking it....Uh uh....[:'(]

RE: Hot Fuel
My vette set up for about 4 months and even with fuel stabilizer in it the gas went bad and the car smoked and stumbled like a diesel.
As a matter of fact I was driving around burning out the funky premo gas and stopped at a light and a guy hollered at me that he didn't know they put diesels in Corvettes.
After I put in fresh gas and some redline additive it was once again its old LT1 self .
