Pull the crossfire out and drop in an LT4.
Seriously, there is not a lot that can be done to help the Crossfire Injection motor. There is a Crossfire forum for just this engine though. You have to register to read the threads but those guys know what they are doing over there.

Well, believe it or not, the LS"X" series of motors is the "state of the art" in small block Chevy motors, just like the "Modular" V8 engine is at the blue oval. Technology is hard to accept sometimes. Hell, you still have people who love the flat-head V8 from Ford.
I have to admit, I am a vacuum tube amplifier nut. Build and design them myself.

I would do some research and find companies that make some better flowing heads for your engine or you can have your existing heads ported. Some other mods you can do would be a set of long tube headers, a bigger cam, K&N airfilter w cut lid. I would also recommend a set of 3.73 gears. It wont add power but it will definately make your car much accelerate much faster. Just my .02

The reason people say u cant do anything with the crossfire is id didnt' exsist very long. It is all about your goals and your budget. Dropping in lt, or ls is always a great way to do things, and if you want a TON of power it is the best way to go. after all, the weakest ls motor is 345 hp base. then can be supercharged or forced induction, or whatever.
Now, if you want to stick with the cross-fire, because they are kind of unique, I understand. You will have to do it more old school. heads, cam, intake, and injectors, and exhaust. Whatever you can find to get more air and fuel into the cylinder, and get more exhaust out off the cylinder will make more power. I don't know what all is computer controlled on those if anything, but don't ignore that either.
