How do you lower a 1986 C4? I'd like the car to ride an inch or so lower. How does on go about achieving this?

The route I chose, was the whole nine yards. Replaced the whole suspension system, now ride height and spring responce is fully adjustable. It cost about 2500 pluss shipping.
But,.....ya know what?, I don't regret it one little bit.

ecklers or madvet sell a lowering kit. It costs surprisingly less than you might think. The rear is really easy to do, the front is a little more work. I think i saw it for like $40-50
