Default I NEED HELP! please

i recently got my 94 back form the shop after they put in a whole new left rear suspension. they also have washed it for me but unfortanitly the weather the past couple days has been around 15 degrees. so any i was driving the other night and i noticed that my door ajar lights come on and off randomly when i drive. i called the shop and they said that is was somehting from the water that froze the door in a certian way(like this balck **** they said). anyway what im trying to say is what should i do and is ther anyway that this is the shops fault because the battery is going to set me back $80.

thanks for your help,
Matt

What does the battery have to do with your door ajar light? Most likely, the switch in one of the doors is either not adjusted properly or it is going bad.

It screws in or out and is usually in the forward door post. Also, check what the nose switch is pushing against on your door to see if there is a problem there. Most door switches provide a ground path for the interior light, as power is on 1 side of the lamp at all times, so when the switch closes (opening your door), it completes the path to ground for the light.
