Injectors

RE: Injectors
GM dealer is around 80 to 90 bucks each. Accels don't have the best rep for quality. All the ones I can find pictured in all my corvette catalogs don't seem to have the GM rail clips on the injectors. I have the ford 24# injectors, Got them for Christmas. Fuel pressure alone pushes them out of the rail down into the intake manifold. I need 8 injectors, Don't want to blow $600. Any suggestions?

RE: Injectors
Me again, After checking several websites and Ebay GM injectors are still 90 bucks. I was wondering, If I went down to the parts store and bought fuel line with the inside ID of the outside of the fuel injector and cut the lenght to keep my injectors in the rail these "brand X" injectors may stay in place. I need to tear down again anyways as my new Holley fuel pump refuses to be regulated by my adj. regulator. She's at 60 psi now. I got a new Holley finger adj. billet reg. to replace it. Any thoughts on my backyard redneck engineering? (by "redneck" I am referring to myself no slams to anyone) By the way I'm running a Accel super ram II intake, Which does not have a positive stop at the injector nozzle end. Thanks.
Any thoughts or experiences appreciatted.
