L98 Bolt On performance
Hey Guys and or gals
I've got an '89 low miles pretty clean.
I want to do a few bolt ons this Summer to boost the performance.
I've already got a B&B cat back exhaust which sounds great!
And I installed a K&N filter.
This is what I'm thinking:
Hooker long tube headers and the Hypertech Street Runner chip.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on some other bolt ons that
won't put a very lage dent in my wallet but will give me some decent gains.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

On your B&B exhaust, is that 2 1/2" pipes or 3" and has it increased performance much. I have a LT1 and looking for more fuel ecconomy and thought the 3" might be better providing there not to loud, I still want to hear the radio.

mine are 2 1/2"
The exhaust was already on the car when I bought it. So I have no reference to performance difference. It is a loud exhaust but you can still hear the radio.
having a conversation on the cell phone is pretty difficult though.
as for fuel economy my vette gets 23 highway
