I have a 1995 C4 that the light chimes do not work when the lights are on and I turn the ignition itself off. I had it in for some work at the dealer and all they said was it was covered somewhere in the owners manual. I have read it cover to cover and can't find anything to do with it.

Also, my seat belt chimes do not chime either if this helps????

If you have the lights "on" & ignition "off" you have to open the door for the chimes to sound. At least that's the way I interpet it.

The seat belt warning has no chime only a warning light in the speedo.

The only other time the chime will sound is if you leave you turnsignal indicator "on" for more that a 1/2 mile or so.
