A Little Help on my 1st Vette
Yesterday, I picked up my first Vette, a 1989 6-speed with Z51 and sport seats. The only things that don't work are the power antenna and the drivers seat lumbar.
I've read in several posts that the antenna is a pretty common problem. I think I can hear the motor run when I turn the car off (or maybe its the fuel pump spinning down?). At any rate, is this an easy fix?
The passenger seat lumber works fine, but there's no action on the drivers seat. When I push the switch, the compressor dosen't run. I've read that the compressors have circuit breakers. Are they located in the fuse panel? Any idea which breaker it is? Is it common for the switch to fail? Is it common for the compressor to fail? I don't want to replace the compressor only to find out I had a bad switch, and vice versa. Do I need to remove the entire seat to get to this stuff?
Sorry for so many questions, but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

BTW, here's a picture. The cars behind mine are both Challenge cars. The white one is an 88 and the lettered one is an 89

RE: A Little Help on my 1st Vette
The antenna sometimes can be repaired by replaceing the mast assembly. If the motor runs all the time, the mast tape is broke. If you do a search on the C4 forums for antenna, I think I remember an illustrated repair for it. [8D]
