Default A moron with a c4 seeks oil pressure/temp knowledge

1987 L98. In December I replaced the intake manifold. Car wasn't driven until March. When I drove it I discovered an oil leak dripping on to drivers side exhaust. Assumed I had not done a good job sealing back of mani. Tore it down and did it again very carefully. Started car and drove around neighborhood oil light came on and pressure went very low. I creeped in to my shop. Oil was pretty much gone. Let it sit over night, filled with oil and started it. No apparent damage from oil loss, pressure came up. BUT I'M HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING THE LEAK. I just can't get in behind the engine to verify it. This is no seep. The oil is coming out too fast to be a leaking seal. So, I'm thinking oil pressure sender or temp sender. Being careful to seal the back I took both off when doing the manifold. To get them off I had to remove both and then the piece that screws in to the block. I reassembled with Teflon tape, hand wrenches and pliers on the one wire sensor. I guess I screwed something up. CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON HOW I CAN VERIFY THEY ARE LEAKING OR TELL ME HOW I MUCKED THEM UP?

TIA

Put the car up on a hoist or ramps start it and climb under with a flashlight. Best option I have...
Fyi Teflon tape is not a sealant, it is a thread lubricant.

It was where I though. The oil pressure switch. It failed and oil was flowing right through. It is in a heck of a place. Got a new one installed and no more leaks for now.

Glad you found the leak and thanks for reporting back as it might help others in the future.
