Welcome to the forums there, sanders...

I haven't done the B pillar, but I have done back hatch. I unscrewed one hatch strut at a time, put the stripping under it, reconnected,and supported the glass with a broomstick.

Use duct tape to hold the broomstick at the glass. If it slips, the glass could pop.
