Default Weatherstripping

Thanks to all you guys for the tips on the drain kit. Did it in 30 minutes (hope it works!). Another weatherstripping question: Has anyone replaced the coupe hatch weatherstripping? Does not look that tough to do, but would like to hear from anyone on this. Will save me a coupe of hundred bucks if I can accomplish this myself.

I'm in the process of replacing my outer window wipes and weatherstripping on hatch and targa top/window top now. Hope to have done by the weekend. The window wipe has proven to be the hardest so far but only because I didn't realize I needed to put 3 rivets in it and had to go buy a rivet gun. Make sure to get some good weatherstrip adhesive and do a test-fit before installing. Not very hard for a do-it-yourself project. I'd rate it just slightly harder than the drain kit.

Thanks for the tip! Would you please post the outcome of the hatch weatherstripping when complete? Would appreciate it.

I finished both wipes and the targa weatherstrip today. It took some patience and some elbow grease to remove all of the old weatherstrip, but it fits nicely and have no problems. It even rained this evening and no leaks

One thing that will make the difference between as relatively easy job and a pita is initial fitment from the factory. corvetterubber in my opinion is the best place to get your weatherstripping.

Thanks for the tip RAISINBRAN. I will see what CORVETTE RUBBER has to offer. Will post later as how the purhcase and install goes. Was thinking of getting weatherstripping from either Mid America or Contemporary Corvette.
