i need a new exhaust system on my 90, from the converter back, any suggestions? I don't want it to sound like an animal, i want it closer to original sound with some minor *****. Kinda like a sleeper...quiet in town, and animal when i open her up.

 

I am in the process of getting my exhaust done. I am only doing headers and running straight pipes through the cat. to give it some extra beef. I dont exactly know, however, what any exhaust system sounds like except for borla and corsa. Borla has always held its place in my heart. Corsa, on the other hand, sounds like a mo-ped on its last leg. So anything you do, i would reccommend staying away from Corsa but Borla offers a wide variety of sounds and im sure you can find what you are looking for. Good luck

 

thats weird that you say that. most c4 owners swear by corsa. it has exactly what you want, quiet cruising, but when u step on it, it opens up. you might check out magnaflow as well.

but 94black, ur young like me...i go for the loud, i want everyone-to-know-im-coming sound....im thinking about getting b&b. i like borla, but ive heard too many inconsistant comments about it. some people say its too loud, others say its not loud at all

 

b&b? whats that? I like borla but i think a lot of people just get it for the name and not because they actually know what they are getting. The only thing on my ehxaust that will be borla is probably going to be the mufflers. I am getting Hooker Shorty Super Comp Headers. i just dont think that corsa sounds good though. It is too poppy at hgh RPM's. it sounds kinda like SLP exhaust on a Mustang Mach1. It would sound good if you had a race car, but as a daily driver it sounds almost lke something is broke.

those do look very nice. i might have to invest in some of those, but the prices are outrageous. I guess you get what you pay for lol. i would expect a hell of a lot from those.

 

they are really expensive from the site, but there are better deals out there. i think i found a good deal on corvette central or ecklers
