Default No Heat in my 91

I've encountered air conditioning compressors that died and general warmth when the freon needs to be charged but I turned on the heat last night and got nothing but cold air. I figured with a 170 or so degree engine a few feet away from my body that a magical fairy must get it into the car but apparently I need to have it looked at. Any suggestions?

I researched that and heater core came up. Is yoru passenger floor wet? Since you had A.C. issues. Mine will blow out air whatever the outside air is. In the winter its freezing. Summer, the air will scorch you outta the car. Is it a compressor?

Check the coolant level first off.
