Oil leak
#2
RE: Oil leak
If it's hard to see, I would think the first suspect is the front oil seal, behind the harmonic balancer, and mounting in the timing gear cover. Next, is the timing gear cover, gasket. If either of these is the prob, change both, the timing gear cover, gasket and the front oil seal.
If the leak is up top, intake man. gasket or valve cover gaskets, oil can sometimes cover the front of the engine, from top to bottom.
If you should need to change the intake gasket, also change the valve cover gaskets. Any time, generally,
if you disturb a gasket, change it. Now you have no doubt about that componant, no leaks.
Hope this helps.
