wow bill... no need to get all antsy. I cannot tell you the normal temp because my car is far from normal and it runs pretty hot. but i can tell you my average oil temp is around 215-220 degrees. my gauge could very well be way off though and it could be readin too hot or too cold. so you might have to just call your local GM dealer and ask them. i am pretty sure they would be more than willing to help you.

thanx for the help wasnt being nasty but this motor is worked and it is my first vette the gauges r all new to me they keep changing numbers lol not like my ol mustand or ta thanx again

210 when going down the hwy. if u use mobile 1 ur good til around 280 or so

280 w/Mobile one???? Is that correct? I thought the guage red-lines at 265???

mine doesnt redline until like 315 i think
