Default Power steering pump

Trying to get the power steering pump to work on my 1994. I believe that under the flow control valve there should be a plunger and a spring. It seems that mine are missing..(no wonder it didn't operate. Any ideas where I can purchase these items? They don't look to be readily available. Maybe a new pump in my future. Thanks

New pump would fix the problem, or find maybe a junk yard pump for parts if you want to go cheap,

Spent a bunch of time yesterday researching and came to the same conclusions. Ordering a new pump today.

Internal parts are becoming harder to find and if you do they are pricey. Would be a good time to flush the system and start with new fluid and pump.

Well, nothing is cheap or easy with these older cars.
