Cool Restoring an 84 - Help

Hey Guys, I purchased a life-long dream last year- A 1984 Corvette (One in Real need of Love). I have set out to completely rebuild this baby. I have had the engine rebuilt, replaced the CFI with a Holley 750 and had the transmission rebuilt. Now, I'm starting on the inside. As with most Vettes this age, the digital cluster isn't working porperly. I have removed it and gone through it checking for solder breaks and making sure the bulbs are working. The Cluster lights up, but the digital readings are non-existant. Is this a problem with the LCD's or could it be a computer problem. I have completely pulled the dash and found traces of mice, so this may be part of the problem. My next step is to go through the wiring and check for loose connections and rat snacks.
Any help will be greatly appreciated !!!!
