I have been having a problem with my security light coming on. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it won't. When this happens I have to shut off my radio manually. Also the PKE won't work as well. I tried sliding the VATS key in and out of the lock cylinder to see if that helps. But still no security light. Once it finally comes on everything works fine. Any ideas what to look for???

 

Do you mean that your radio does not turn off when you open the door? If that's the case, it sounds like your door ajar switch (s) are sticking. Probably just need some lubrication?

 

I don't see the switch. What I see looks like contacts. Yes the radio dosen't shut off. But once the security light comes on it will.
