Default RE: Spark Plug Diagnosis...

Ok so basically what it comes down to is this. The butt of the spark plug shows you whats going on in the engine. Once you can diagnose your plugs, you can stop a potential problem. A big problem is misfiring. Thats why you wont to keep your timing correct, heat range good...ect. ect. ect. Now a problem with mine is the oil fouled plug. I have a worn pistion ring which is seeping oil in there. Oh well it wont kill the car. Too rich of a fuel means trouble in the ignition timing. Ignition timing may be to advance. Check into that a.s.a.p. Now if your your lucky then you can sneak away with the good covered plugs that are just old. So consider yourself better off than the rest of us. But even you dont get past the knuckle busting of the L-98 plugs HaHa. Well I hope this helped some of you guys out. Good luck and if you have some quiesitons please post them. Either I or someone else will try to answer it to your understanding.
