RE: Stock C4 vs Saleen Mustang S281
well my C4's a bit special and putting out around 450 gee gees but I think my "ford" could give it a run especially on a nice curvey road.Thing is I will never find out'cause no one else is allowed to drive them!!!
Hope the ford pic comes out!

They are a nice car, quiet, classy, and fast -- very fast for a big sedan, but even with a change in pulley and tune they still have trouble getting down to the lower 13s in the 1/4.Like my recently departed Audi S4 V8 - big powerful sedans have to play in their own league because they just weight to much to mix it with 'vettes and etc.

My son covers a lot of these Jags at the dealership where he's service manager, one of which dynoed 500+ RWwith lots of boost. He told me they don't recommend it because the Jag/Lincoln/Ford 4.0-4.2 liter block develops hairline cracks around the two rear main bearing webs from crank flex.
