Default SYS Flashes on dash

Just bought this cherry 96 LT4 convert last October. I got to put 600 miles on it and put it away for the winter as I live in lovely Wisconsin. I start it up about every 2 weeks and bring it up to operating temp and let it run about 30 minutes. The last time I started it I got a SYS symbol flashing were the temp readout is. Question is,has anybody else had this happen and what did it turn out to be? The engine and all the componets work fine, ie radio, ac, fans. Would appreciate any info.

Jim

Probably a "Lo" battery condition. Assume your not using a trickle charger or such?

I would buy a Battery Tender & keep it attached to the battery when not in use &that shud solve the problem as you are unable to drive the car. Running it for 30 minutes IMO is not recommended to charge the battery.

Doesn't take much to get the "SYS' started.

Definetly a battery issue.
