Well I decided to move forward with the new knuckle and we will see what happens.

Got a new issue now. When I installed the stalk back into the column I now have no resistance at the wiper toggle. I hear a slight click when I get to and leave off but there is zero resistance holding it to off or any position for that matter. Any ideas? The only idea I have is that maybe the wiper switch happened to go bad, maybe from a bump?

My column is almost completely assembled and I don't have to install it in the car and have to get back at this part. Its pretty deep so any thoughts would be highly appreciated.
