I need help locating a TV cable for a 1992 Corvette. I just had the tranny rebuilt. The TV cable that goes to the transmission is broken and I can not find a replacement. The Dealer said it has been discontinued. Sounds like this may be the only year they used this cable. 1993 and beyond the shifting is electronic. Prior to 1992 it used a different Cable from the Throttle Body to the Tranny. As a temporary fix they hooked up the old style Cable to the tranny, but I would like to get the original style TV cable for a 1992 Corvette

 

There is a Corvette salvage facility in Bristol, Pennsylvania called Contemporary Corvette. Check them out on the Internet. Other options would be Corvette suppliers such as Paragon, Corvette America, Zip Products, Vette Brakes, etc.
