My 95 LT-1 Six Speed when idling in Neutral makes a sound like the a/c is cyling every say 5 to 10 seconds or maybe if the car had air brakes and the air tank was full and it was venting additional air pressure every 5 or 10 seconds. It idles fine, cranks without effort and runs fine. Just sounds a little strange. Worries me but not to much, should it?

If it is not your compressor, then it is the Secondary Air Induction pump running which has an electric motor to run the pump. [8D]
