unusual tire wear
I have a '99 Vette that I just put new tires on at 41,000 miles. This was in September. When I went for an oil change I was shocked when the service manager told be my rear tires were bald! The car now has 56,000 miles. I have never smoked these tires. He showed me the wear which is primarily in the center of the tire. He said there was no way these tires (especially the right) had only 15,000 miles on them. These are Goodyear Eagle 1 tires. He sais the only thing that could cause the wear like that could be a suspension problem which was rare. He kept saying no way the right tire has only 15,000 miles. I know there is no written warranty on run flats. Service mgr also said these tires should get about 40,000 miles. anyone else with this problem? Would I have any recourse at all w/ Goodyear or should I just buy new tires and forget it?
Thanks
