VIN #= Veichle Idenifcation Number. I dont think that is on a transmission. Just get your transmission rebuilt. It will be stronger and like new but still original equipment.

 

You didn't state whether it was manual or automatic.[8D]

 

NOS brand tranny? How much? Whats the difference between that one and other ones. I didnt no they didnt replace all the componets. Learn something new everyday.....

 

hey i worked in auto salvage yard for about 20 years never seen a vin#on any trans but they maybe a tag on it with the part # if you wat to try and match it you can call a salvage yard and they can break it down for you are you could just have yours rebuilt if you ask around prob not a lot of price diff thanks johnny
