Had the widows tinted and the paint buffed. It looks like glass, and the ac will freeze you out!! I've had some cool cars over the years, and i'm not rich by any stretch, but my vette is by far the most fun i've ever had with my clothes on. This is the one i keep!! I took my son up to the museam last weekend, I hope to see some of you sometime

I agree, theres nothing like the feeling you get when driveing a vette, this is my fourth oneas of this past monday, a 95 white one,kinda makes me feellike a king and thegals are always looking, little morale booster.I like feeling lowprofile and fast, vettes are awesome!

I know. All the chix look at me and there bfs are about to bust. Plus the single ones...well...i do get flirty at the stoplights with the windows down. This is my 2nd one and by far wont be my last one!!! Drive safe.

 

Ive been thinking about tinting the windows, maybe just 35% I have 20 on my S-10 Extreme and it looks sick! My usual tint guy always gives me a rash of crap every time ive brought a vette to get the windows done because he does the whole back window as one piece, he's always done an awesome job and cheaper than any one else. I always give em a little extra spiff, just because it does take him a while and it looks like it would suck to do after watching him on the last three.

 

Got limo all the way around and then the top of the windshield. Do it. It looks really good. Plus it will protect your interior alot better.

 

What's an acceptable cost for a tinting job? I'm seriously thinking about having it done on my '87. Cheers

 

Usually around sixty bucks for the 2 side and front banner, and the back window (no tinter wants to touch) could run anywhere from 60 to a hundred bucks by itself.

 

All the way around plus across the windshield limo tint was 230 dollars WITH a lifetime warranty!Dont get much better than that.
