Default Preliminary manuals, Whats the difference?

I keep seeing this set of PRELIMINARY MANUALS for the 98 Vette, and I'm just wondering what the difference is? Is it missing any important information?

They are based on factory work rather than final production experience and may miss a few things. It is rare there is anything that matters in the difference. One can cite some famous cases to the contrary but generally what is in the orginal pre-prodcution manual is what applies when it is in production.

Got mine directly from HELM on my 98. They don't say preliminary or maybe I cant read the fine print. Got me out of a lot more than the $150 or so I paid for the 3 volume set.
