I HAD MY C-4 UP TO 144 LAST NIGHT ON A OPEN HIGHWAY NO ONE AROUND, MAN IT WAS A WICKED FEELING THE CAR WAS SO SMOOTH I LOVE MY VETTE LETS HEAR HOW FAST MY FELLOW C-4 OWNERS HAVE GONE OR SHOULD I SAY GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS LOL[sm=americanasmiley.gif][sm=hiya.gif] I LOVE AMERICAN POWER

I finally got mine runing right and took it out . I got her to 120 and I ran out of nerves before it ran out of power !! It's a bitch to get old !

 

I had my 86 up to 135..thats good for me[8D]. Maybe I'll take her up to 150 one of these days.

The digital display stops at 180, But seriously now i'm really not sure when we went to the old airstrip my dash was out, I know for a fact the car was not going any faster though.

I've had her up to 122 but ran out of freeway, I mean track, before I ran out of pedal.

There was a ton of acceleration and rpms left[8D]

There are some great, GREAT, wide-opened flat country roads around Wisonsin. I just haven't had the opp. I will let you all know when I finish my '87 work-in-progress

 

damn 167, i bet your foot was shaken after that run. SWEET. WAS THAT STOCK OR WITH UP GRADES?

 

I can't and won't take credit for that pic, I got that from a friend. I was deffinatly going faster than that on my flat out track run. Also that was with mods, and the only thing that actually went through my mind on the top speed run was, "I hope these tires are good" lol....

 

NO SHT,RIGHT... WELL I GUESS THEY WERE GOOD TIRES BACAUSE YOU ARE HEAR TO TELL THAT STORY

 

i got up to 150+,then shot under a overpass. scared me to death. i didn't have time to see just how fast i was going,but it felt goooooooooooood.

 

My 87 is upgraded and the fastest I have gone with it is 129, and ran out of nerve. When you're 67 "nerve" has dissipated long ago. I'll leave the speed to you young bucks. I just like touring in my Vette.
