I've heard that.... when you get a ticket, pay it with a check... for $5 more than the ticket... and supposedly they don't post the points if you never cash their refund check - because the transaction is incomplete.
It could also be just a rumor, but what the heck.

I have a 95 lt1 stock and I remembered this thread and decided I wanted to see what mine would do. It climbed up to 132 then shifted into overdrive, then up to 135 pretty quick but at 136 it didnt seem like it would gain a whole lot more, kind of like it was governd or something, although I did run out of room and I had to let off before I could tell for sure if it would do anymore or not. Has anyone else experienced this? I was thinking about getting some gears anyway to help at the track. Hello, just found this site, already can't seem to read fast enough!!!! I just about daily hit 125,130 on my way to work,in a 7 mile ride,I've only tweeked under the hood, nothing in the engine though. I have a little spray HEE HEE,160,000 miles,all original parts mostly, and have seen 150+ more than a few times. 49.75 years old and still refuse to grow up.

Well I got mine up to 142 the other day, hard to get a good enough straight away and no cars at the same time, plus a little paranoid of the tires I have, their a little dry rotted. When I get some new tires I will try again.
