Default Where to Jack?

When you guys are jacking up your vettes, where do you put the jack, i just replaced my starter motor in my 95 yesterday, the replacement took only 30 minutes, but i had a hell of a time jacking the car. First the car is so low its hard to get the jack under it, but then after i jacked the car, it was hard to find a place to put a jack stand, because the ideal place was where my jack was... Finally got it done but it just took longer than i wanted, and im about to replace my exhaust in a few weeks, so im going to be jacking the whole car up pretty soon... any ideas??

Default RE: Where to Jack?

check out WWW.ZR1NETREGISTRY.COM/jackupzr1.htp [ how to jack up a ZR-1 ] if this guy wrote a piece on how to jack up a above averaged priced car and did not bend the body i trust what was said. he gives pictures and some helpful tips. i printed the article and stashed it away. a good set of ramps from Eklers with angled helpers works good for the low clearance front. Yes, i have a set and the do cut down on time for that type of application.
