Default wire loom???

Hi everyone
I am replacing my plug wires (1992 corvette) and have found my loom brackets are missing on the heads. my guess from head work from before I owned this car. I have looked at after market parts and they all look wrong. Mr Gasket has one that says it fits the car but it doesn't look right ether. Has anybody used after market loom kits on the lt1with good results.Any suggestions???
Also would like to add this sight has bin a great help working on the old 92 corvette
Thanks all

Hi Ric, mine were missing on my 85 too. I got mine from the Chevy dealership, they had to order them, but I got them overnight, and they're originals.

If they can get them for an 85, I'm sure they should be able to get them for a 92.

Thanks rshiver You are probability right I just hate going for something so small (brackets and clips) it scares me what they might charge. I guess I well have to find out. Another question would a steel bolt with antiseze on it be OK with the aluminum head or do I need to get something special?
Thanks Ric W

I'm not real sure about that Ric,but I would guess anything that would prevent corrosion. I do know that they are different types of anti-seize, someuse aluminum-graphite, some use copper, zinc. To be safe though, I would consult someone more knowledge.

Went to the Chevy dealer today to get the loom bracket the bad news discontinued the good news they found one in Phoenix AZ. at another dealer. (How do they do that.) Istarted to orderit andthey said 175. I was shocked and said no thanks.I thought I would have to play millwright and fabit myself they laughed and said $1.75 plus shipping. It is on its way. oh they said reg bolts for the bracket with any ant-seize would be fine. Thanks rshiver for taking the time.
