Default WOW! Things are working-Thanks!!!

First I would like to thank all those who have made comments, recomendations not only from this forum but others. One especially, Jon Banner from F.C.I. Injectors. (See other threads "Irratic Engine, Old problem solved..., Poor fuel economy, Putting on coil wire and Engine shut down"). Last night my replacement injectors came as the owner before me had the wrong ones on the car. Jon exchanged them for just the cost difference between the two and $6 shipping. Just on the way into town I could see immediate difference in fuel economy, so I think I am on my way to my goal of 28mpg + on the highway. There are still some small issues but they are not affecting driveability.

Again Thanks.

I told ya' Jon knows his stuff.

And I suggested a few tests too. I still think you should do them too...

Next week my neighbor who is a mechanic for a local GM dealership is going to change the oil since he has a hoist and will have him check pressures and while up in the air look at things on the bottom and install the CAGS bypass for the transmission. He can also bring home the TECH 1 scanner and check any other things like O2 sensors. I have new ones if they indicate that they are needed. The only other thing is the idle is about 975rpm range, just the width of the needle below 1000. So he can check that and reset it and I have one of those sensors also. Pretty soon I'll have enough parts to build another C4...Only kidding!

Thanks guys Was out with the car all day. Restoring the interior now. Got the tune pretty much ironed out. But I am not going to take it back to the dyno anymore. I am happy with the way it is and that is the way it is staying. From now on this car will be 50/50 show and go and I will enjoy it the best I can.
