If you had the choice between a 2003 Anniversary Z06 or the 2004 Commemorative Z06, which one in the long run as far as re-sale value, performance and reliabilty would be the better choice? They seem like there pretty much the same car, except the paint but is there anything else?

 

You won't be able to tell any difference in performance between them, or between them and a standard ZO6: the advantages of carbon fiber hoods, etc., are too minute to tell. Which will have the better resale value later? Who knows, maybe neither? As a rough guide, check the premium that folks with the special '96 C4 (Indy Pace Car or some such) and probably earlier special models get over standard cars of the same year) but that's only an indication.

An important point is this: if you pay a premium for a special model like that and expect to ever get any of that premium back at re-sale (assuming that the market is such that there is a premium at the time you sell), then you have to leave the car alone -- absolutely stock, no mods. For me, that takes half the fun of ownership out of it. If you can live with that then I'd say pick the car that turns you on the most, but don't count on this being any type of investment or anything. Can't depend on that.

 

i have the 2003 annv and simply luv it, i get alot of looks because you rarley see that color with the special rims, now if i can get more hp ill be all set.
