Have a 1998 Vette that does not shift at WOT from 1-2 and 2-3 w/ approx. 100K miles. Is this a problem that can be fixed w/o removing the transmission? If the trans does need to be rebuilt I can get a 97 4L60 Vette trans for $300. Will there be any problems swapping my 98 trans w/ a 97 trans? Final question, does anyone have a step-by-step instruction on removal/installation w/ pics?

I guess calling a transmission rebuild shop would be easier.
