Default active handling question

My active handling system seems to come on for no reason. Active handling will flash on the dic for a second at random times. I also can feel something, like the brakes are being slightly applied. Additionally, the brake pedal will shudder occasionally when applied.
I pulled the codes and for the 28-TCS I got: C1221, C1225, C1232, C1287, all history codes. I looked them up and know what they are. I also got C1283 and C1288, history also. I don't know what those 2 are. Any help on them? I then cleared the codes and drove the car for a while hoping just one code would show up but no such luck, no codes are there now.
So my question is, What would cause the active handling system to kick in when going down a straight road, dry clear conditions at normal driving speeds? And why does the brake pedal shudder sometimes?

Had messages on dic today- service active handling soon & service vehcile soon. pulled codes and got C1287, C1288.
Looks like steering sensor problem. Is there anything I should check before replacing the sensor. And is it a diy project.
I have plenty of mechanical ability.

"C" codes are not OBDII codes, but manufacturer specific codes. "P0" codes are actually OBDII. I will look up you C codes for you when I get to my shop this morning. The steering sensor is at the base of the steering column, not that hard of a task in a Chevy pickup, but a Corvette... Laying on your backside is certainly not much fun. I will look up diagnostics this morning.[8D]

I have the same problem with my active handling. Have you discovered the source of the problem? I replaced the electronics package and it is still doing the same thing. I assume that it must be one of the "g" force sensors or something out at one of the wheels. The service reps don't seem to know what the source of the problem may be and I am not inclined to want to spend more money having them troubleshoot this problem. However, it is very annoying.

I have a new steering wheel sensor. Can I get some advice on how to install it? Do I have to remove the steering wheel? where exactly is it located? Any help will be appriciated.
