Am i getting a good deal
Hey guys I found a 2000 corvette black with black leather sport seats. Its has heads up display and a glass roof. The only problems is it has a small tear in the drivers seat (approxmitaly 1in long) and it has 158,365 thousand miles on it. . They are asking 14, 650 for it. What do you guys think? would the motor be worn out or does it still have good power, and how much would it cost for me to rebuild the moter. thanx it also has power everything every option

That's about 25,000 miles a year. I found a 1999 with work (Corsa exhaust and K&N intake) for $24,000 with only 16,900 miles. But I'm looking for a z06 - have to compete with my friend's 2004 GTO.

dont be so quick to overpay, assuming it has those options edmunds claims your paying over dealer retail for that car. It is a good asking price, but you should be able to get it lower.

Man stay away from that car! Last November I bought a 98 with not even near half as many miles, more like a 1/3 as many miles as the 2000 your looking at. And guess what I paid what they are asking for that Vette. The value of my car retail was much higher. I could sell my car today and make money. To recover that seat will cost you close to $800. You can do a lot better.
