Well I puchased the Borla Stinger Quad Exhaust today from West Coast Corvette. Can't wait to get it. Now my X pipe ?..... My Installer showed me the Magnaflow X pipe, he said it flows better than the Borla X pipe and I think it is more of a true X. I can buy just the X piece for $80.00 and tie it into the old pipe, or buy the X with new pipe for $265.00. I don't see anything wrong with the old orig pipe. I'm not showing the car with mirrors under it or anything. I Would like to know what you guys think. Thanks for any advise here. D

 

When I purchased my Borla exhaust I went ahead and got the Borla X pipe also, and had it all tied in to the existing pipe. Like you said "D" it's not like we are showing it underneathe, and it works just fine for me.

 

Well guys it"s a done deal. No time to wait for more advise, I was to excited to get the Borla system Installed. I had Bret and Danny at American Muffler in San Diego (Kearny Mesa) Install the system, They did a Fantastic job. Installed Borla Stinger Quad, Then cut in and replaced stock H-pipe with Magnaflow Tru-X pipe. Thank you to all the members who helped me make Exhaust choise. I love the sound and performance. Fantastic sound, Music to my ears. Some people say turn the radio up at freeway speed, Not me, I turn the radio off to listen to the car. Now it sounds like a Corvette
