Just bought these for the vette. I went from some yokos to these. Any people in here have any experiences with them? Here is the price and sizes I purchased. I havent recieved them yet because discount tire had to order both sets. If anyone has had some bad experiences with them please tell me while I can still return them.

Honsetly, I can't see where these would hold the road good having flame tread like that. I don't like the tread pattern, looks more like a show tire than a performance tire. That's just me though. All that matters is that you like them.

 

Tires for our C cars are expensive, no argument here. I just replaced the rear factory Goodyears on my C6 because of multiple punctures to one tire. Odometer showed 23,500 miles when I was forced to make the change. I'll bet I had another 10-12,000 miles left on the tires. Two rear tires plus 4 wheel alignment and balance was $790.00.
I think what you paid was what the traffic would bear, but you did not get ripped off. I like your tread pattern better than the Goodyears I chose. I've seen you tire on a couple surveys and it was ranked high.

Actually, out of46 tires in its class on tirerack it was 3rd overall. Its a very sticky tire thus less tread life but very good grip. (tread wear is 300 so not that low, my yokos were 400) According to all the reviews I read from consumers and distributors it was a 4.5 out of 5 overall on almost every review. I just wanted to know if anyone had any real life experiences with them.

Man you got 23k miles out of your tires. I will be lucky if mine last me till this time next year. Then I will have to drop another $700ish for the rears. I had read several reviews about the tire before I purchased it and all of them were good thats why I went ahead and bought them.

 

I have G-Force 275/35R-18 KDWs on the front on my car, G-force 345 drag radials on the rear.

Got my new tires, well only the rears. They ordered the wrong front tires so I will have to keep my yokos on thefronttill around march 5th.[:'(]Anyway they look sooooooooooooooooooooooo mean and that makes me happy.
