I have seen a lot of info about C5 windows on hear but not many people report back about the repairs. I know my regulator is bad (cable is frayed and binding). My questions is has anyone used an aftermarket window regulator on a C5? They are less than $100 and OEM is at least $250. I usual beleive that you get what you pay for but I don't even use the windows very much. Is it worth it to spend the extra $$$ for OEM? Thanks for any input.

 

Get the after market one, keep the original. Should you ever sell you can
hand 'em the old regulator and say "It's all original".

 

I use them all the time (aftermarket) in my business. Work just fine and you can't tell the diff between them.
