Default C5 Switchback LED resistor mounting??

Has anyone come up with a creative way to mount the resistors that correct for hyperflashing caused by the switchback bulbs? I tried wire ties, and it melted the tie! The things just get way to hot. Any guidance is appreciated-

Corey

Try using GE 162 silicone (max temp = 400F):
162 Noncorrosive—Noncorrosive to copper and brass. Bonds capacitors, resistors, and integrated circuits to printed circuit boards. Also insulates exposed copper wires and terminals. Begins to harden in 4 hours; reaches full strength in 48 hours. Meets MIL-A-46146B. UL recognized.
You can get it at www.mcmaster.com
It comes in a 2.8 oz tube, cost about $19, and is their part number:

You should use 80W amplifier to switch.
